Meet the Team

Mrs Champion is the teacher in Kestrels Class.

We are very lucky to have Mrs Fox on a Monday, and Mrs Street on a Tuesday-Friday.

As a team, we are very much looking forward to working with your children and we are keen to share their journey with you. Please make sure you are signed up to Class Dojo to see photos and updates.

We always welcome parent helpers to join us and support children in class such as listening to children read.

Wider Curriculum:

At Whitchurch Primary School, we are very fortunate to provide children with a wide range of learning experiences to ensure children develop a love of learning. The children have forest school sessions, attend a local gymnastics centre, have P.E sports coaching sessions and have cooking lessons throughout the school year.

Forest school:

Our Forest School sessions are on Monday during Term 2 each week. Please ensure your child has a waterproof coat and wellington boots in school.

PE:

Year 5 will be having PE lessons on on Monday and Friday (after finishing gym) - both are taught by the fantastic Mrs Champion!

Gymnastics Centre:

Year 5 will be attending the gymnastics centre each Wednesday from 11th September - 4th October.

How can you help at home?

Ensure your child has had a recent eye test and hearing test.

Read at home 5 times a week or let your child complete their reading records independently.

Practice your child's spellings each week. Our spelling test is on Friday each week.

Check our website class page and Class Dojo to keep updated with our curriculum.
