Meet the Team

Miss Williams and Miss Knight are the teachers in Parrot Class.Miss Carleton is teaching in Parrot Class until Miss Knight returns from maternity leave.

Miss Sadler is the teacher in Penguin Class.

We are very lucky to have Miss Ponting and Miss Miller supporting in Year 1. We welcome additional support from parent helpers, please contact Miss Williams, Miss Sadler or Miss Cefai if you are interested in volunteering in our class. 

As a team, we are very much looking forward to working with your children and we are keen to share their journey with you. Please make sure you are signed up to Class Dojo to see photos and updates.

We always welcome parent helpers to join us and support children in class such as listening to children read. 

Wider Curriculum:

At Whitchurch Primary School, we are very fortunate to provide children with a wide range of learning experiences to ensure children develop a love of learning. The children have forest school sessions, attend a local gymnastics centre and have cooking lessons throughout the school year. 

P.E

We have two P.E sessions each week. Please ensure your child wears their P.E kit (house coloured top and black shorts / jogging bottoms) on the days they have P.E. 

Orienteering:

Year 1 will be orienteering during our P.E lessons on Wednesday during Term 3 and have a term of Forest School sessions to look forward to!

Forest school:

Our Forest School sessions are in Term . Please ensure your child has a waterproof coat and wellington boots in school. 

Gymnastics Centre:

Year 1 will be attending the gymnastics centre each Wednesday from
